Frank Pena Founder of "Frank's Rental" Frank Pena was born in Texas, raised in New York City, spent 25 years in the Air Force and retired in Austin with his wife Carol. Frank worked selling insurance in Austin, before going to work for Allan Rundell at Safeway Rental. There he used his mechanic and leadership skills to move up to manager and run the Oak Hill location. After leaving that company he started his own company with very little resources and a lot of experience. Frank along with his wife Carol, opened Frank's Rental in 1987 and started building a business. In 1989, after considering the demands of a growing business were taking its toll on their life, they decided to sell the business to a good friend and previous fellow employee, Mike Stewart. Mike brought in his brother Joe, and they kept Frank on as an employee until his untimely death, from Cancer. He is missed by many, and will be remembered by the Stewart Bros. forever.
